I’m a trusting guy.  So when I see a trail on a map I tend to believe it exists in real life.  Although I should of known better seeing it was put together by a government entity.  Bottom line, I lost the trail at no fault of my orienteering skills (I think) and ended up [...]

It’s May, the birds are chirping, flower are bloomin, and it’s time to go skiing this morning.  On the snow by 8 I toured up a ridge.  A veritable ghost-town.  No other cars on the highway and no snowmobiles to be heard.  I had the mountains to myself.  About 200 yards up the hill I [...]

Let me start this post by saying I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed.  Now, with that disclaimer out in the open the headlines in the paper continue to shock me.  Let’s break down four headlines in the same local paper on the same day…I had to laugh at the comedy of errors. 1: [...]

I don’t think of myself as brilliant, skolarly (intentionally misspelled), or anything other than ordinary.  Proudly though, I think I have common sense.  The sense to make decisions, solve problems and function in everyday society.  Sadly, though, with everyday I encounter more stupid people. The image of the Far Side cartoon of the guy pushing [...]

TEA Party

On the heels of my “Everyone Poops” posts I doubt this will sound credible.  But then again I am talking about shit again….as in the shitty job the government has handled our rights and spent our money.  I attended the Boise TEA Party this afternoon.  What I witnessed was a boisterous crowd who has had enough [...]

The year was 1994 and David Ball catapulted to #2 on the charts with “Thinkin Problem”  While it was a money song I refrain from calling Ball a one hit wonder.  I only classify hits as reaching #1 on the charts.  I mention this tune because I have a thinkin problem, although it isn’t about [...]

The shotguns are loaded, the horses have been fed, and the skis have been tuned.  We’re ready to stampede to Musicfest 2009.  Last year saw everyone accounted for, with the exception of a few bodily injuries.  This year promises to being twice as stellar with another crew from the north and the late addition of Hot C.  [...]

No, I’m not talking about Reese Witherspoon.  I’m referring to the liquid that will fuel my being this winter.  If you’re prone to sore throats, have a weak vertical leap, malfunction in social situations, or are 1-2 months delinquent on your mortgage, I highly recommend a hot tottie.  After all, they say a hot tottie [...]

82 days to Musicfest 2009.  6 days of shoulder deep pow, gnarly tunes, doing what you do, aspens, Clydesdale’s, and many other debaucheries.  Last year saw Mini Me laying down the law.  Kitts performing a flying squirrel down a fresh chute to perfection.  Unconfirmed reports of someone getting jacked so hard in the face his [...]

In anticipation of ski season I am sitting on the couch and thinking about exercices I should be doing to get ready to rip the crud.  Here’s an example of an easy exercise to do, single leg squats.  Ok back to my Coors Light and Office DVD.
